This lovely vintage postcard is unset, but it does have writing on the back:

Ancestry has pulled up information on Donat E and Dorothea M Yelle, managers of the Sirocco living in apartment 1 in the 1959 city directory. Donat died in 1969, on a plane ride back to Florida from Boston at age 68. He was a dentist in Dayton, Ohio and lived the last 15 years of his life in Florida. Dorothea died in 1983.

You’ll be pleased to see that the building still stands. From Google Street View:

The internet has the complex built in 1957. It was 15 units, but now is apparently at 11. It has passed its three most recent county inspections, and is currently listed as a ‘transient apartment’. Its license expired December 1. I would not be surprised if this one didn’t stand too long, as there is a lot of high-rise building going on in the area. This whole area was previously filled with similar buildings. It is sad to see the old two-story places disappear. We are losing our heritage with each passing year.
