This card is unused. Although it isn’t dated, Dexter Press joined with MWM in the 1970s and became MWM Dexter, based out of Aurora, in the 1980s. The swimsuits look of that vintage.
The Page Terrace still exists under the same name. Here’s a photo, courtesy of Hotels.com:
The Page Terrace gets excellent reviews, so it’s worth checking out if you’re staying in the area. Their website is here. According to the website, the Page Terrace was built in 1958. It’s been family owned and operated since 1990, and has 36 units. This is a delightful story, reminding me of my favorite childhood book The Pink Motel:
In the winter of 1990 the Page Terrace was purchased by Roman and Christine Czyszczon. The family, including their two children, packed up the car and headed to sunny Treasure Island, Florida for an extended vacation and take a chance in the hotel business. The property was in need of a total makeover and Roman and Christine were determined to succeed. With hard work, lots of prayers and help from the family, they were able to turn success into a reality.
It’s such a great story. You can check out their facebook page here, and definitely do check them out if you’re looking for a place to stay in Treasure Island.
