This lovely vintage card was mailed from Miami Beach on March 1, 1955 using a two cent red John Adams stamp (like this one here, top row right). It was sent to Jean Michaels, Box 187, Pequannock N.J. [written below that is ‘or Sunset Rd Pompton Plains N.J.’] It reads:

Hi Mickey –
This is simply wonderful – the weather’s ideal. Swimming every day. Ocean and pool. This is a place. Have a room, very large with bath and kitchenette. We prepare our breakfast, lunch and had a few dinners at home. We’re right on the edge of the ocean. I’m sitting by the pool now. Never be able to settle down after such a wonderful vacation – the motels are fabulous so are the many hotels. See you Monday
