This lovely vintage card features the AAA logos. It was mailed from Daytona Beach April 3, 1972 using a six cent stamp like the one here. This card was sent to Mrs. Elton Leyton, Hampden Maine. Hampden was then crossed out and below is written MRA Bangor. On the top back of the card is stamped COLOR TV. It reads:
Hi Ruby –
Nice flight down & having a relaxing time – doing nothing. Good to see so many young people here.
Fondly – Dot C.
Sadly, this is now another craptastic condo.
Here’s another postcard of the Atlantic Waves Motel. And yet another, with a different sign. Both of these list Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Lake, owners, mgrs.
Genie & Walter Reiser were also listed as owning/managing the Blue Heaven Motel in Daytona Beach, located at 2659 South Atlantic Avenue.
