Saturday morning, December 9, we got up and headed to Detroit Metro for a Florida vacation! As usual, we took a ton of photos (Bob’s phone, my phone and my camera), so I’ve split the vacation post into daily posts. We had the best time…we always do. It was nice to get out of the colder weather and to see new things (and some of our favorite things from our last trip to Florida, too).

It was an uneventful flight from Detroit straight to Orlando. We got in early enough to check in and head out for dinner. We went to Tilted Kilt, as it was within walking distance on International Drive and had outdoor seating. The weather was perfect!

We stayed at the Point Orlando, the same place we stayed in 2009. This time, they had the cabana set up, and we spent a lot of time relaxing out there in the evenings.
