Florida Vacation – Sunday

On Sunday we got up and went to breakfast at the B-Line Diner, which is located in the Peabody Hotel.

The food was excellent! I had the Belgian waffle. Bob had eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes and yogurt with granola.

The Peabody is the place with the famous Peabody Ducks (duck fountain below; the ducks were still sleeping in their $100,000 penthouse apartment).

After breakfast, we headed off to Epcot. I just love Epcot – all of it.

We went through Spaceship Earth, inside the geodesic dome.

And we went through the new energy exhibit with Bill Nye and Ellen.

And we did the Living with the Land ride though the greenhouses.

And we went through all of the countries.

It’s amazing being able to see flowers and greenery the day after seeing everything all brown and dead.

My favorite of the country areas is Morocco. I absolutely love it. We sat in the cafe and had baklava and moorish (coffee).

Bevy, the marketplace in the Morocco area is full of belly dancing outfits, hand cymbals, etc. You’d love it!

For dinner, we went to Fogo De Chao, which is a Brazilian steakhouse. It was probably the best food I’ve ever had. Seriously amazing.
