This lovely vintage postcard, unsent, features the AAA logo.

After a good long search, both online and actually standing in front of the place, I’m pretty sure it’s now the Waterfront Inn:

The great roof details have been covered by a weird mansard-like overhang. But you can still see the original curving lines of the grass, that the sign and overhang for the office is still there. They’ve added an indoor pool complex in the middle of the parking lot, and there are new buildings out behind. The lines are the same though, and the location description matches.
