New Year’s Eve was warm and lovely. New Year’s Day brought snow and cold…winter has returned! We did make it up until midnight to watch the ball drop. We went to breakfast at Denny’s, followed by coffee at Barnes and Noble and a relaxing evening at home as the winds howled and the snow came down. The holidays were absolutely perfect…the best yet, I think. As usual, the first photo of the new year:

Winter returns!

On Monday, we went to breakfast, then went for a walk at the Kellogg Forest. It was delightful.

Back to work today (Tuesday). The sun is shining and the sky is bright blue. After my coffee, I feel more like working on my resolutions, including approaching others with kindness in my heart. It’s going to be a great year!
