Nice! The Sea Castle is still in business, as part of a complex with the Thunderbird Beach Resort (up until recently, it was a separate Best Western). It’s actually owned by the same people who own the Tahitian Beach Motel. It gets decent ratings according to Trip Advisor, as long as you don’t mind a little musty/mildew smell (and really, who minds that? On my list of Most Unpleasant Smells, I don’t even know if mildew breaks the top ten. It’s not a nice smell to be sure, but still…). Also, 93 percent of Expedia reviewers recommend it. Seems like customer service is important to the motel, and that goes a long way in making a better stay.
