Bob and I took Friday off work. We went to breakfast and just hung around all day…it was lovely. And it was sunny, two days in a row!

I guess they call this the Battle Creek Tower now? It’s all high-end apartments on the upper floors. I always think of it as the Transamerica Tower, but that is from a long time ago. I love how the morning sun lights it on fire.

Today was gray and cold again. We went to breakfast, then I did all the taxes. We met Jack Crawford for dinner at the Griffin…haven’t seen him in a few years. It was nice to sit and chat. This evening we’re going to have a fire and relax.

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl. I’m planning a special meal…pizza rolls, quesadillas and meat-free buffalo wings, along with homemade strawberry sherbet. Should be good!
