Summer Reading

On Saturday, Bob and I went to Willard Library and got new library cards. Apparently, they take you out of the system if you haven’t used their card in two years. The new cards have your photo on them. When we entered the library, it reminded me of summers growing up. Mom would either take us down to the library or the bookmobile and we’d all get a stack of books, read through them, and be ready for more. I decided this summer, I’m going to check books out of the library and have a summer reading list.

The first one of the summer season is Dorothea Benton Frank’s Folly Beach. I’m about 20 pages into it so far.

What are you reading this summer?

Finished the book tonight! It was pretty good. A worthy summer read.
