This lovely vintage postcard is unused.
While this card doesn’t have a lot of detail, there is quite a bit online in the form of postcards regarding the Suez. Check out this ad from the Montreal Gazette from February 8, 1986:
A weiner roast party! And “pizza” party? Free toast! Free tennis, in the day and at night!
Looking at other postcard views, the Suez had a cocktail lounge and a coffee shop. Such mid-century charm! Unfortunately, the Suez is long gone, replaced by another condo monstrosity. Miami Beach isn’t the place it was during the golden age. The only thing to look forward to is when all the current buildings are torn down, and something new replaces them. Is it too much to hope they will have room for the old two-story motels the next time around?
