It wasn’t a tornado, but Battle Creek sustained a tremendous amount of damage. We didn’t have anything out in Pennfield, but the shelter was out of power from Sunday night until just after noon on Wednesday. Fortunately, we have our backup generator now, so we could still clean.

These photos were taken on Memorial Day. We stopped out at Memorial Gardens to see Bob’s kin and check out the damage from the storm.
