On Sunday, Mom and I went out for our annual trip to Southern Exposure Herb Farm for a Scottish wreath class. They do such a lovely job out there, from Chef Elsie’s lunch to the class instruction. It is always a lovely, relaxing day.
We started with a square wreath form, and had faux dogwood blossoms, real pussy willow stems and real roses to include.
The roses were not only beautiful, but smelled wonderful as well.
Mom always does such a good job on the projects.
This is my completed wreath.
When we drove out to Southern Exposure, it was 37 degrees and snowing. After we finished the wreath project, we found that the sun came out and it was 55 degrees. It suddenly felt a lot more like spring!
Today is supposed to reach 70 degrees, but we’re in for rain the next five days, followed by a slight cool-off. I still don’t have anything open except for the crocuses.
