Crocuses in Bloom

Spring is maybe on the way in Michigan. At least, my spring flowers are starting to come up (the ones protected close to the house, anyhow).

This past weekend I did get out and clean up the front gardens a bit. I cut back the spent sedum and grasses, and lopped off some of the flowering shrubbery.

It’s colder today, but it’s sunny. The weather’s going to warm up a bit over the week. I’m already starting to think about putting out the jelly feeder for the orioles, but I am going to wait until the 26th.
