I think we’re at around a foot of new snow in the past…12 hours or so. On top of the three or four inches we already had. It is still blowing and cold and nasty, but the worst of the snowfall should be over in an hour or so (although the five day forecast calls for more cold and even more snow!). I was unable to get out of the driveway today…got stuck once trying to get out and two more times trying to get my car back in. I will not be leaving for the remainder of the day. Thankfully, staff members did make it in to the HS to feed and clean the animals, and we didn’t lose electricity. It is Groundhog Day, the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. But still, I wish I was here:
One of the beautiful motels in southern Florida: These modern motels in southern Florida are beautiful like a film setting and offer everything that American design can give: pools, outside dining, sun terraces, dancing patios, private balconies with every room. Color Photo by H.W. Hannau.
This unusual postcard does not feature any single hotel, but seems to be more of a Florida tourism plug.
