I’m working on McCall’s 3830, Skirts in 5 Lengths:
I’m doing version D, which is just above the knee. It’s supposed to be really quick, but I am really slow when it comes to sewing. Plus, I only get about half an hour in each night (although experienced sewists (?) report they can get the whole thing done in half an hour).
I chose a stretchy plain fabric. I’m doing this version with a zipper, but I have instructions on a take with elastic as well. Maybe next time. I decided to go for kind of a hip, heavy zipper instead of the plain ones you’d see.
I got the sides sewn up last night. I have to do the facings and hem and that’s it.
