Today is supposed to be 50 and sunny. It is now 34 and cloudy. Tomorrow is supposed to be 60 and rainy. We shall see. We had a little snow over the weekend, but the daffodils are up about three inches now. And I saw my first robin of the season on Friday.
I still need to put up a photo of the last skirt I finished. Now I’m doing another one in the same basic pattern. I altered the pattern, redrawing it altogether.
I’m cutting in the side hems an inch each so it’s less box-like. It’s a really itchy blue and white checked wool.
In fact, it is so itchy, I’m skipping the facing and instead underlining the whole thing. This is my first attempt at underlining. Hopefully it will turn out okay.
Just finished reading The House at Tyneford by Natasha Solomons. It was excellent, and a quick read.
