The sun did come up at the shelter this morning, though the clouds took over fairly fast. This week is snow and clouds, temps in the low to mid 30s.

One year ago, we had just gotten back from the Florida Keys. Only 59 days until spring now.
I’ve been back swimming at the Y in the therapy pool. It’s warm, and when it’s not crowded it’s a lovely experience even though I have to force myself to go. When it’s crowded, I swim laps in the big pool and worry about the lifeguard having to jump in to save me. That’s not as much fun. What exercises are getting you through the winter blahs?
Great Courses is running an 80% off sale, and I’ve been thinking of getting one to supplement my podcast listening on my commute. I have a pretty constant run of This American Life, The Moth and Radio Lab going.
Right now, I am crocheting Maxy a blanket to put over him when he sits on my lap on the couch. I love this trick from the Lion Brand Blog about how to wind your own center-pull ball of yarn. Want to see what other projects I’m considering? Check out my Pinterest crochet page.
