Kittens and Project

My kittens, the shy, frightened, hissing ones I was working with:

They are no longer scaredy-cats. They were fixed on Tuesday, and will probably go up on the adoptable floor Sunday or Monday. The girl (right) loves to give and get kisses. The boy loves his belly rubbed. His eyes remind me of Maxy. In this job, you should never give your heart to a kitten…they will break it every time. Hopefully these guys will do just fine, though.

I’ve been working on a project for a coworker to give her mother. This basket contains my handmade lavender/geranium soap, geranium bath salts, fresh bamboo milk bath soak, lavender eye sachet, candy-covered oreos, spa socks and a mini notecard set.

Paired with a bottle of wine and a good book, and it should be a perfect evening or two at home. I hope Jackie really likes it.

You’ve done an excellent job with the two kittens. They were completely feral when you got them and could not have enjoyed the love of humans. Your work gives them a chance at a life far better than that of a feral animal. Helping defenseless creatures like these two cats is why I give to the humane society. Great Job!
