Kellogg Forest

Saturday, May 21st. It’s warmed up again and today is going to be around 75 degrees. Bob and I had yesterday off. We went on a bike ride and hung out, and I got all the pots planted. Today we went to breakfast, then for a walk around Kellogg Forest, then grocery shopping. Then I started in on tearing out the gardens and replanting.

We saw a rose breasted grosbeak on our walk! Mom has had some at her feeders this year.

You have really improved the look of our front yard. And you worked really hard to get it done. I can’t believe how much effort it took. The flowers and plants look great! I look forward to seeing how everything matures as the summer progresses.

I also loved our walk on Saturday. The forest was so alive and the scenery was awesome

I had the best weekend with you, Bob. I am so lucky to have you as a life-mate!

I’m pleased how the gardens turned out. I, too look forward to see them once they are fully developed.

I also enjoyed our bike ride on Friday, along with the walk at Kellogg Forest on Saturday. We have so much fun together.
