Today Carrie and I went to the Head Start classrooms in Albion to present HSSCM’s program “What Does it Take to Care for a Pet.” Four classes, 58 kids total.
Arrived back at work around 3:45. Bob called at 4:30 to let me know that his father was being taken back to the emergency room via ambulance. We all met up at the hospital. His leg bone snapped below the ball joint that was repaired, and he will need to go in for surgery to repair it (probably tomorrow). I can’t even imagine how painful that must have been, but both he and Iris (and Bob and Cindy, too) were very brave. Please keep them in your thoughts.
I’ve got two great new postcards I need to scan in and post over the next few days. It’s very cold and snowy here in Michigan, with more of the same predicted for some time.
