This picture would not be available if not for my hero-husband, who left work this morning to get my car un-stuck from the middle of the intersection at Watkins and Helmer. Only four staff members made it to work today, and only one drove himself. We cleaned. We shoveled. We cursed living in Michigan.

Not only do we have something like two feet of snow on the ground right now, the temperature is currently zero degrees. Accuweather helpfully points out that the Real Feel is -33 degrees.

Only 72 days until the spring equinox. Not that I’m counting or anything.
