The shelter is having a Howl-O-Ween event on October 27, and also doing dress up on the 31st. Two opportunities to dress, I decided to go all the way there and embrace my inner geek with the creation of a custom-made costume. Night before last I cut out the red wool gabardine and super lycra. Last night I cut out the black gabardine.

There is something about stretching out yards of fabric to lay out a pattern and cut out fabric: it draws every cat in the house.

Tonight, I install the invisible zipper. The directions are not that great. Hopefully I’ll figure it out, though.
