Hi: May be back home before you even know we were gone. Came to look at the orange grove and everything fine. Weather is wonderful. Be home Saturday.

The Dolphin Motel is still listed in a directory of Fire-Safe Hotels and Motels online. However, it seems very likely that, with no other listing, the motel is long gone. Satellite maps don’t show anything that resembles the roof-line of the old structure. There is a George Kessler, related to Marie Kessler, reported as living in Vero Beach (aged 96 – Marie is listed as aged 99!), but no white pages listing so I am inclined to think that they have passed on.

Not able to dig up much of anything about Ralph S. McCrea or his wife, Elsie E. McCrea.
