This vintage postcard was mailed using a purple 3 cent liberty stamp in August 1960 to Mrs. Robbins & Family, 231 Washington St. Riverside, New Jersey. It reads:

Hi Folks,
This N.Y. state is really O.K. We just come to N.F. from the 1000 Islands. We will be home Monday.

The Riviera is now the Budget Host Inn. Here’s the Google Street View:

Perhaps it’s not surprising that it doesn’t get the best reviews on Trip Advisor. Yelp! says it is now closed.

Beryl sent me these two old postcards (dated between 1900-1910) of Robertson’s Tourist Home:
