This delightful card has been used and has a 4 cent purple Lincoln stamp on it, but no post mark. Perhaps Gerry forgot to mail it and instead hand-delivered it to Mom and Dad when she got home?

Hi Mom & Dad

Went to see a couple of more shows. One was a play and one an ice show. We went to this place on the post card. It has a little bar made up like a boat and boy are there the guys there. There were more there than in the whole city. We went water skiing today. It was great. I fell only once. The next 2 times around I did fine. Instructor was right along side us. Gerry.

This is where Gerry’s Mom and Dad live. It looks like the house has been split up into at least two dwellings.

Critiki notes Castaways closed in 1981 and was demolished, replaced with two condo towers.
