Although this lovely card is unsent, the Curteichcolor archives lists its print date as 1957.  Offering food similar to Wolfie’s (see also my card featuring Pumpernik’s), Ronnie’s closed after 39 years in business in 1995.  The Orlando Sentinel has a great article here. The Jewish delicatessen was owned by Larry Leckart. The building was demolished shortly after closing. Larry died in 2004 and wife Gladys “Hap” Leckart died in June 2013, on what would have been her 66th wedding anniversary, aged 91.

It seems just about everyone is looking for one of their recipes online, and many individuals talk about the good memories and the good food. Another bit of something special, gone.
