Saturday was April’s bridal shower at the shelter. Kristy and I arrived at 3:00 to decorate (also admitted a schnauzer from ASK and examined a cat, sweet Gabriel, with a bad leg). The shower turnout was excellent, 28 people. I think it’s because everyone loves April so much. She is everyone’s favorite.

The schnauzer is friendly enough. This morning I took Gabriel to Dickman. He tested negative and is going in for surgery on his leg and will be neutered at the same time. My heart just breaks for that little cat.
