This lovely vintage postcard is unused. It feature, in addition to the questionable capitalization in the description and a lack of an apostrophe in the name, the AAA and Duncan Hines logos.

Here’s a crazy story from the Miami News on April 18, 1954 about Alberts. “A pretty Coral Gables girl, described by her mother as “the top candidate for Miss Typical Teen-Ager of 1954 and five companions were held for investigation yesterday in the holdup of a Miami Shores motel. She, her gun-toting boyfriend and two other couples were seized yesterday by the police, 40 minutes after a holdup of the Alberts Motel, 9101 Biscayne Blvd., Miami Shores.”

Alberts still stands, operating as the Hacienda Motel.
