Tonight was Chuck a Puck night at the K Wings game in Kalamazoo. The Humane Society sold tickets and pucks. I got to go out on the ice and have Slappy give me a signed hockey stick. This is Alexis, Melissa and Adrian, before the start of the game.

Sunny and warm today, 62. Supposed to be in the low 80s by the end of the week! The willow has tiny leaves, the crocus and violets are in bloom...spring!

Today was the first day of spring. Yesterday, it was 64 degrees and sunny. Today, 36 degrees and snowing.

Mom and I went to Southern Exposure to take a class which included creating a european birdbath. It was a really nice time.

Southern Exposure is just an incredible place. Curtis and Scott are the best, and I'm so thankful for their support of the Humane Society.

I have a few crocus coming up, and all five hyacinths have made it this year. I am going to give it a day or two, then start hosing them all off with the stink spray to keep the deer from eating them. Saw my first robin last Thursday. Supposed to be sunny and in the upper 50s all this week!
