Today was the dog costume contest at Tendercare Marshall, to benefit the Humane Society.

Re-roofing project.

Progress, at least on the inside portion of the building.

The education and training space is starting to come together. They are blocking in the walls for the ADA bathroom.

It's been so rainy, they still haven't been able to pour the floor for the new addition. Hopefully this week.

Today was not bad, for a Monday. It was lovely, but cool out. They are predicting snow for the weekend, but just a flurry. It's supposed to rain for the next several days.

Last night I made a good bean and potato soup. I'm really going to try to make a big pot of soup twice a month from fall through until spring. I've done two weeks of it already.

Today was simply beautiful, the perfect Michigan fall day. Breakfast with Ron and Becky at Griffin, then we came home and got the furnace all ready to go, got the heated cat beds ready and started some clean up outside. It was a great day. Our first hard frost was Thursday morning.
