Project 365 at Catobear.com!

(note: Thursday, July 2) I've obviously had a major problem with the website, and had to move hosting companies. I will be working on going back and fixing things over the next few weeks, but I should be able to update daily again, too. What a mess!

Saturday was the Cheetah Chase at Binder Park Zoo. We took the display board and three puppies.

The kennel reconstruction is complete, save for the new privacy fence that will go between adoptables and the stray side. The project came in behind schedule and over budget. I hate to think of the next phase of the building work!

This is the rental car I had while my car was being fixed. I am incredibly happy with the service Progressive provides. They are an excellent insurance company. The car was fixed Friday.

Bob and I stopped over to see Dad, and were so impressed with all the work he and Mom have done on the side garden!

Mom has vegetables growing in all her pots. They have done such a good job putting everything back together!

We went over to Gull Lake to Cindy and Mahmoud's to see Bob and Iris for Father's Day. The house Cindy is renting is just lovely, on the lake. This is the channel on the driveway back.

Hassan took Bob and I, and Bob Sr. and Iris, for a ride in the boat. He is an excellent driver, and I didn't get nervous at all! In fact, it was a lot of fun and a highlight of the summer so far.

The house on K Drive South.

We went over to meet with the real estate agent and the guy who built the house in 1975, to see if we could get the water and everything else on and set for the inspector to come the following Wednesday.

We went to breakfast with Ron and Becky. I am so glad they are back from Florida! They are some of our best friends, and I just love them :)

Anyhow, when we got out of breakfast, we found that someone had smashed into my car. It wound up costing $2,500 to fix it, though I didn't even have to pay the deductible. Yay, Progressive!

The HandsOn Battle Creek Community Barnraising is tomorrow. Over 100 volunteers will be stopping out to make improvements to our Dog Park and walking trails. This is the delivery truck for the ginormous arbor.

The fencing is going up on the kennels, finally...slowly!

The final bit of concrete is being poured.
